Bigcommerce Shopify Apps — Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which bigcommerce app ranks #1 on Shopify?
Matrixify: Data Export Import currently ranks #1 for bigcommerce apps on the Shopify App Store and holds 88.6% market share (-0.03pp vs 30 days ago). Rankings refresh weekly — see the trend chart above for how this position has changed over time.
2. How are bigcommerce Shopify apps ranked?
Rankings on this page reflect each app's position in Shopify's keyword search results for "bigcommerce", which Shopify computes from a mix of merchant install volume, review velocity, and recency. Apps beyond position #22 receive zero traffic in our market share calculation since merchants rarely scroll that far.
3. Which bigcommerce apps are climbing the rankings on Shopify?
Migrate Go: Import & Export has shown the strongest ranking momentum among bigcommerce apps, climbing 2 positions to #5 over the past 30 days. Sort the rankings table by Rank Change (Low to High) to surface the full set of recent gainers.
4. How often do bigcommerce app rankings change on Shopify?
Bigcommerce rankings show a mixed pattern — some leaders hold steady while challengers in positions #2–#10 reshuffle. Use the date range filter to compare any two snapshots.
5. Which bigcommerce apps lost rank positions recently?
Vostari Converter: BigCommerce dropped the most among the top 10 tracked bigcommerce apps, slipping 3 positions to #7 over the past 30 days. Switch the table sub-tab to "Ranking Changes" to see all decliners ordered by movement size.
6. How many bigcommerce apps does ShopDigest track on Shopify?
ShopDigest tracks 63 bigcommerce apps on the Shopify App Store. The full list is paginated in the table above — adjust the date range and sort order to drill into any window.
7. Why don't apps ranked beyond #22 show market share for bigcommerce?
For keyword pages, market share is rank-weighted: position #1 carries roughly 40× the weight of position #22, and apps beyond #22 receive zero weight. This reflects Shopify search behaviour — merchants almost never scroll past the top of the results, so positions further down don't translate to installs.
