Web3 community and brand management platform TYB (Try Your Best) announced joining Shopify’s app store. This will allow its list of brands to connect the TYB widget to their Shopify checkout experience. TYB is an Avalanche-based amplification platform that enables businesses to integrate blockchain-based rewards such as non-fungible tokens (NFT), which will now be available to Shopify retailers.
Merchants can leverage the app to grow their loyalty programs and offer customers discounts, challenges and exclusive drops to increase engagement. Popular retail brands such as Topicals, JuneShine, Figlia, Body, Loverboy, and 54 Thrones have been using TYB before the launch of the Shopify App. These consumer brands leverage TYB’s existing white-label solution to build a custom platform with community tools that can ensure deeper and more meaningful engagements with consumers across the world.
The Shopify component is really closing the loop on allowing the brand community members to redeem their collectibles for cool perks.

Breana Teubner, chief operating officer of TYB said the company’s motive is to assist brands in increasing their community engagement through Web3 technologies “We want to bring TYB to brand communities, and it’s very simply a tool that allows brands to directly connect with, prompt and engage their communities,” Teubner told CoinDesk.

Lately, Shopify has shown interest in Web3. In July 2021, the e-commerce platform created plans to help merchants sell NFTs in their storefronts. In January, Shopify also included support for merchants to create and sell Avalanche-based NFTs on the platform.
