Kith: The "Most Iconic" Lifestyle Brand Powered by Shopify

Shopify helps merchants set up their online stores and sell quality products. There are numerous lifestyle brands powered by the Canada-based e-commerce platform, though the “most iconic” one seems to be Kith, suggests Shopify President Harley Finkelstein.

“Arguably the most iconic collection ever. KITH x JerrySeinfeld Powered by Shopify,” Finkelstein said in a tweet.

Along with the tweet, Finkelstein shared the store link directing to the collection titled “Jerry Seinfeld for Kith Fall 2022”.

Seinfeld is a New York-based stand-up comedian. He has endorsed Kith’s latest seasonal collection for fall 2022. “This assortment includes original apparel and accessories by Kith, inclusive of the brand’s ongoing Classics Program™. Kith Fall 2022 also features a range of partnerships, including capsules developed with Russell Athletic for The City University of New York (CUNY) by way of Queens College and Brooklyn College,” the online store states,

Seinfeld is also an alumnus of Queens College. His photographs for the brand were shot by noted Texas photographer Mark Seliger.

Kith is a lifestyle brand established in 2011. It sells apparel and footwear for men, women, and kids using seven physical stores and one online store based on Shopify. Kith has partnered with New York-based collaborative practice Snarkitecture for its physical stores.

On the brand website, Fieg proposes “to shift the current landscape of fashion, while operating under a personal philosophy of giving the consumer more than what they pay for.”

Shopify ❤ Merchants

No other e-commerce platform values online merchants more than Shopify. Finkelstein, who himself sells a beverage under brand name ‘Firebelly Tea’ using Shopify, has earlier given shoutouts to The Unofficial Shopify Podcast and American YouTuber MrBeast. While Unofficial Shopify Podcast has completed two million downloads, MrBeast now has over 100M subscribers on YouTube.

Jimmy Donaldson, the man behind MrBeast YouTube channel, uses Shopify to sell his merchandise. “Shopify is obsessed with entrepreneurs – Jimmy is one of the world’s biggest creators and one of the most epic entrepreneurs. MrBeast has been on Shopify since he had 3M subs on YouTube – and he just hit 100M. Congrats on 100M Shopify!!!” Finkelstein had tweeted in praise of Jimmy.

Finkelstein’s Venture

Nine months ago, Finkelstein launched Firebelly Tea to sell beverages made of no-artificial ingredients like sweeteners and flavouring agents. This tea comes in compostable pouches, which take one year to degrade in the compost area of the garden.

“Nine months ago, I became an entrepreneur again – and it feels damn good. Why? As the President of Shopify, the best way for me to understand what our merchants are experiencing today as they build their businesses is to be an entrepreneur alongside them,” he shared his intention on LinkedIn.

“For a year, we product tested, designed tea accessories and packaging, built our site and our brand. Finally, in November 2021 we launched Firebelly Tea on Shopify. We are nine months in, and it’s been one hell of a ride so far. But I can tell you one thing – we are just getting started.
