Shopify and Interakt have joined hands to bring a completely different shopping experience for users this coming festive season and that too on WhatsApp. This means with just a single click, carts on WhatsApp chat can be turned into orders on Shopify. Out-of-the-box integration with Payment gateways like Razorpay are available for non-Shopify merchants.

The Shopify-WhatsApp integration powered by Interakt aims to make the order placing and payment process an effortless job on WhatsApp itself. The automated checkout workflow also enhances the customer’s experience.

With the Interakt-Return Prime integration, merchants will be able to manage exchange and return requests as well on WhatsApp. For this, the brand will be required to include the Want to Return/Exchange option as a part of their automated Welcome/OOO message on WhatsApp. This will direct users to a personalised Return Prime page where they can place the return request.

WhatsApp’s smart automation features reduce the wait time of customers, thus allowing businesses to improve service quality. For example, automated notifications can be used to inform customers about order updates, and delay during rush hour apart from several discounts and offers available on special occasions. Auto-replies could be set up for Frequently Asked Questions, enabling brands to effectively manage the increased influx of consumer queries and conversations during the festive season.
