His query was soon flooded with replies from merchants who used Shopify Flow to automate important tasks on their online stores.
“Had an issue where orders were being fulfilled before they were updated with after purchase offer so used flows to have the orders wait for an hour and then be tagged and used the tag to bring the orders into our system. Doesnt seem like much but saved us a ton of headaches,” John Allen, founder of merchandise store Ivory Ella, replied.

One with username ‘@mr0ue’ joined in by saying: “Many of them only integrate with specific apps which is lame but I use this one which is pretty cool. Sends a slack message to my CS team when an order hasn’t shipped after x days and to see what’s going on with it”.

David A. Lindah, founder of The Rainier Watch, had earlier raised a similar query on Twitter. “I had a same question recently, I’m gonna steal some of the replies here,” he replied
After upgrading from Shopify’s basic plan, Lindah had tweeted: “Just upgraded from the Shopify Basic plan to Shopify plan for @MtRainierWatch 🥳 (worth it for the lower credit card processing rate)… Which means access to Shopify Flow – who has flow suggestions?”
