Shopify now has an application to reward customers with discount coupons for recommending the brand by posting praise on personal social media account. Instagram Discount Referrals by AdMass Rewards app is available for free on Shopify App Store. However, for advanced features, Instagram Discount Referrals offer plans like Pro for $49/month, Growth (Popular) for $99/month and Scale for $299/month.

How it Works?

Once installed, the app provides customers an option to post on social media after making purchases on Shopify Store. In the post, the customers recommend Shopify store to their followers. In lieu of recommendation, Instagram Discount Referrals provides customer with a discount coupon.

Discount coupons motivates customers to make further purchases with the store. This is what makes the app a win-win deal for brand awareness and sales growth. The Shopify store gains engagement from friends and family members of the first customer using Instagram Discount Referrals. The recommendation also builds trust among friends and family members of the customer, making it much more effective and efficient than traditional advertising channels.

Objective

According to AdMass CEO and founder Yuri Kaplan, the app’s objective is to engage interested customers in a non-invasive manner. It is not annoying as social media pop-ups and involves less costing than influencer marketing. Only those with genuine interest will get engagement offers from AdMass based on artificial intelligence.

“This pop-up engages users while browsing stores; it doesn’t engage on the homepage. So, it’s not invasive. What AdMass is trying to do here is create an environment where the person is already browsing the site. They might be looking at the products, AdMass detects interest, and then pops up a discount code in exchange for a social media post. The user enters their email, and they’re provided an image and a caption that they can post. They post and instantly get a discount so they can keep shopping,” Kaplan said in a release.

Since 2020, a 200 percent increase of online stores has been witnessed with more than 2.5 million new shops set up on Shopify.
