Happy Returns, a venture owned by Financial technology company PayPal, has launched Return Shopping for Shopify merchants. It is a new and free revenue stream that allows merchants retain customers even after the return experience. Happy Returns resolves the accounting hurdles associated with exchange of different products.

“Now, more than ever, shopper re-engagement and revenue retention are key priorities for merchants. It’s not enough to make returns easy, merchants need to account for every dollar and bring shoppers back at every stage,” Sanaz Hajizadeh, Director of Product Management, Happy Returns, said in a press release.

“We’ve created a way to re-engage customers at a critical point in the shopper journey, in an innovative way that keeps financial reporting simple,” Hajizadeh added.

Free Offering

Happy Returns is offering the Return Shopping feature to all Shopify merchants for free. Any customer can avail this feature using Shopify and the Return & Exchange Portal. Currently, it is an optional feature, which needs to be enabled manually using the Happy Returns dashboard.

Accurate Reports

It isn’t easy to manage exchanges and returns when you are in e-commerce business. Return Shopping has made it a little easy for Shopify merchants as it keeps return transactions separate from the new sales transactions. It prepares clean and accurate reports by recording relevant sales and tax details of a new order. All reports can be seen within Shopify.

Assisting Conversion

Return Shopping not only keeps a record of what is sold, it also helps in encouraging customers to buy from the Shopify merchant. These incentives can be customized by changing the discount amount on specific products or by waiving off processing fees on return and exchanges.

Enhancing Shopping

The new feature also helps merchants improve customers shopping experience. While placing a return request on the Shopify store, customers can also see the latest products and their availability with the help of Return Shopping.

Faster Delivery

There’s more from Happy Returns as its new feature comes with superfast operating speed, which means that order fulfilment of the new sales can start even before shoppers return the product. It also allows buyers to choose different addresses for return pickup and delivery of the new product. Shoppers can also change the shipping method with the help of Return Shopping.

Track Your Profit

With incredible features of Happy Returns, Shopify merchants can focus on business and easily track their revenue. Reports based on sales help merchants adjust their profit margins. All they need is to closely observe the date based on orders, order value and cart abandonment.

The feature is offered for free to all Shopify merchants and PayPal is sending a member of the Happy Returns sales to help them in initial set up. One can sign up for Happy Returns to make the most of Return Shopping feature without paying any additional cost. Those with less knowledge about the same can schedule a demo session with Happy Returns’ Sales team after filling the form and selecting a preferable time.

Why Choose Happy Returns’ Return Shopping Feature?

Tools like Happy Returns’ Return Shopping are much important for merchants ahead of the Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) season. Falling between November 25 to 28 this year, BFCM is the busiest shopping season across the globe. Merchants receive a high number of orders both online and offline as consumers shop for the Christmas holiday season. Amid all this, wise is to leave hassles of return and exchange to Return Shopping.

Also, the reports compiled by Return Shopping can help merchants to stock up on high selling goods ahead of the busy shopping season.
