Fast Simon, a shopping optimization company, announced the expansion of Shopify agency partnerships in Australia and New Zealand. The announcement made on December 5, Monday, will help Shopify merchants with AI-powered search and merchandising, personalisation to boost average order value (AOV), conversion and enhance shoppers’ experiences. Elephant Room, MindArc and Zyber are the three new agency partners of Fast Simon and here’s what they think of this collaboration:

The study also mentions, “leveraging eCommerce growth is an especially golden opportunity for Australia and Asia Pacific SMEs, where cross-border eCommerce is estimated to grow at a 13% annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2020-2025 to US$247.5 billion.”

Fast Simon’s Search And Discovery App

Fast Simon rolled out Search and Discovery app for Shopify Hydrogen in September this year. Aimed at boosting shopping experience and speed, the new app will also benefit search engine optimisation (SEO). It is the first such app that allows streaming server-side rendering. It also doesn’t require any knowledge of coding.

Already a Shopify Plus Certified App Program, Fast Simon, Inc. has an app on the Shopify App Store under the title ‘Search & Product Filters’. It aims to enhance e-commerce development without affecting the speed and performance of the Shopify store. Following a 14-day free trial, it is available as a free app, though advanced features come in a starter plan for $39.99/month and an essential plan for $99.99/month.

What is Shopify Hydrogen

Shopify Hydrogen has a framework that ensures customising structure, components and designing tools. With this, merchants can make their brands unique. “Hydrogen is built and optimized to use data coming from Shopify’s Storefront API. The shape of the data passed to components, hooks, and utilities correspond and conform to the structure based on the GraphQL types from the Storefront API,” as described on shopify.dev.

“Hydrogen can also support data from third-party sources. If you want to use Hydrogen components with a third-party data source, then data from the third-party source must first be transformed into the types expected by the Hydrogen components, hooks, and utilities, and then passed on to the components, hooks, and utilities.,” it further describes.
