This gives us far more accurate shipping calculations and allows us to pass precise shipping costs on to our customers rather than relying on estimates. The Calcurates team has also been very helpful in working through our more complex packing scenarios and assisting with the setup. It is a powerful solution for businesses that need greater control over packaging and shipping rates.”
“Having used various shipping rate calculators over the years, this is hands-down the most advanced, accurate, and user-friendly app available. AI Summary
Calcurates is a robust Shopify app designed to streamline shipping and checkout processes with advanced customization and accuracy. It supports complex shipping scenarios, including multi-carrier integrations, dimensional and volumetric weight calculations, and dynamic rate adjustments based on weight, location, and order value. The app allows for precise customization of shipping method names, messages, and rates in checkout, along with features like estimated delivery dates and international duties/taxes calculations. Its flexibility makes it suitable for businesses with intricate shipping needs, such as multi-vendor setups or oversized items. Strengths include intuitive configuration, reliable performance, and exceptional customer support, often highlighted for responsiveness and hands-on assistance during setup. However, some limitations exist, such as challenges with Shopify’s multi-location shipping stacking and reliance on metafields for dimensional weights, which may require workarounds.
